Sofi Paez is a pianist and singer-songwriter born in San José, Costa Rica. Upon finishing her classical piano studies at the National University of Costa Rica, she started to compose her own pieces, that are in its majority piano focused. There was a need to discover new sounds, mostly inspired by daily life and nature that surrounds her. On December of 2021 she participated on Piano Layers Vol II by german label 7k! She also has performed at the National Theatre of Costa Rica, Funkhaus and TEDxPuravida. Now based in Berlin she continues to develop her sound while she prepares for the release of her EP Circles on April 21st 2023.
